LaMarcus Aldridge scored 35 points in his native town, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Dallas Mavericks. It was the third straight loss for the Trail Blazers after winning four games in a row. Portland rallied from a 17-point deficit to tie the game at 93 with 2:07 remaining in the game. Wesley Matthews scored 17 points and Nicolas Batum added 11 points off the bench.
Dirk Nowitzki was unstoppable in the final minutes. He scored 12 of Dallas’ final 19 points, including a 19-footer with 30 seconds to give the Mavericks the lead for good. Caron Butler added 23 points and 7 rebounds.
