LaMarcus Aldridge finished strong with 23 points and 9 rebounds to help the Blazers defeating the Kings 94-90 in overtime. Aldridge was limited to only eight points in the first three quarters, but he scored 10 points in the fourth and five more in the overtime to outscore Sacramento. Nicolas Batum led all scorers with 24 points; he also added six rebounds and two steals. Andre Miller finished with 20 points, six assists, and six rebounds in the game. It was the third straight victory for Portland and eight in a row against the Kings.
The Blazers will return home for the second game of a back-to-back to face Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers. Portland had won the previous two meetings with the Clippers this season.
