With no energy from the FedExForum, there was no excuses for the Portland Trail Blazers in the loss to the Grizzlies 73-86. Portland scored only nine points in the fourth quarter as they lost the second straight game after losing to the Spurs last night. Brandon Roy was ineffective once again with only seven points on 3-of-16 shooting from the field. Wesley Matthews led the Blazers in scoring with 18 points and Andre Miller had 14 points and nine assists in the game.
Zach Randolph took it personally against his former team with 25 points and 20 rebounds. Rudy Gay also scored 16 points and O.J. Mayo added 14 points off the bench. The victory put an end to an eight-game losing streak to Portland in Memphis.
