The Portland Trail Blazers visited Oklahoma City for a rematch against the Thunder. Portland lost to Oklahoma City in overtime 106-107 in the last match up at the Rose Garden. Eight days later, it was a different location, but the outcome was still the same. Kevin Durant scored 8 points in the final 5 minutes as the Thunder defeated the Blazers 110-108. He missed a free throw with 13 seconds remaining, and the Blazers had a chance to win the game down by two, but Rudy Fernandez missed the three pointer at the end.
Brandon Roy led the Blazers with 24 points while playing with an injured knee. Andre Miller had a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists. Nicolas Batum continued to play well with 21 points. The Blazers will play the second game of the three-game road trip against the undefeated New Orleans Hornets tomorrow.
