LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points, including a go-ahead dunk with 1:56 remaining, to lead the Blazers to a 96-89 victory over the Nets at the Rose Garden. Nicolas Batum added a season-high 23 points and Andre Miller contributed 19 points in the win. Portland snapped a three-game losing streak and avoided its first three-game losing streak at home in nearly three years.
The Blazers trailed as many as eight points in the first quarter and 13 points in the second quarter, but the Blazers narrowed it to seven at the break. The game was back and forth until the Blazers got great defensive stops to win the game. Portland continue their home-stand on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7:00 PM.
