Minnesota Timberwolves 102 – Portland Trail Blazers 107

With Brandon Roy out for three games, the Portland Trail Blazers turned to LaMarcus Aldridge for help. Aldridge tied a career-high 36 points after scoring 35 points in the previous game against the Mavericks. Rudy Fernandez also played his best game of his NBA career with 26 points. He also had six assists and three steals. Wesley Matthews continued to play well with 21 points including a key basket in the final minutes.

The Blazers snapped a three-game losing streak, but they were hit with bad news. Marcus Camby and Nicolas Batum suffered right shoulder injuries in the first half and Joel Przybilla twisted his ankle. Their status remained questionable for the game tomorrow against the Golden State Warriors.
