Andre Miller scored 17 points and dished out 8 assists as the shorthanded Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Warriors 96-95 at the Rose Garden. The Blazers were without Brandon Roy, Nicolas Batum, Marcus Camby, and Joel Przybilla due to injuries, but they held on for the victory. Portland led as many as 15 points in the second half, but they allowed the Warriors to come back. Fortunately, Monta Ellis missed a jumper with 0.8 seconds that could have won them the game. LaMarcus Aldridge had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Rudy Fernandez added 15 points for the Blazers.
The Trail Blazers will play the last of a three-game home stand against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday at 7:00 PM. They will not play again until the Christmas game against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland.
